Apologies for the lack of posts, we’ve just returned from a week in Norfolk and Lincolnshire and I haven’t had a chance to catch up yet. Until I do, I’ll share this picture of our first evening in Norfolk.

Saturday well and truly felt like Spring. In the evening we walked down to Peppercombe beach with the dogs. We had the beach to ourselves and John made us a fire to keep away the evening chill as the sun set.

Easter weekend arrived with blue skies and plenty of sunshine. John’s daughter Chloe came to stay for a few days. The days started with a hearty breakfast. On Saturday we visited Westward Ho! beach and Boscastle, warming ourselves by the fire in the evening at the Masons Arms in Camelford. Sunday, we took a drive around the coast to Ilfracombe. At the end of the picturesque harbour is Damien Hirst’s gigantic bronze sculpture, Verity. There’s been much talk of the sculpture in the local press so it was interesting to see her.
