Instow beach on Saturday. The sand whipping at our faces. The wind rushing in our ears.

In honour of National Picnic Week, last night we ate dinner al fresco in a field overlooking the sea. Swiftly followed by a snooze in the sunshine.

Always on the lookout for a good coffee, I heard about Jericho’s Espresso through Twitter. It’s situated in Launceston, a Cornish market town overlooked by a castle. On this Saturday morning the sunlight was streaming in and we enjoyed our coffee sitting next to the window, watching the world go by.
